HALÎLULLAH
Halîl, samimi dost demektir. Çoğulu ehillâdır. Halîlullah, Allah'ın dostu anlamına gelir. Bu tabir ile kastedilen İbrahim Peygamberdir. Kur'ân'da "Allah, İbrahim'i dost (halîl) edindi" denilmiştir (Nisâ, 4/125). (İ.K.)
